History

From 2007, in the mountainous areas of Ajara we started growing of the traditional variety, Georgian oriental tobacco trial batches. According to Foreign consultants and experts recommendations we decided to produce from local tobacco distinctive taste cigars and cigarillos. It should be noted that with the participation of oriental tobacco production of the cigar is rare in the world. The first Georgian cigar samples were made on May 5, 2009, in Indonesia, by well-known company “Taru Martani 1918”, where by professionals and sommeliers, Georgian Oriental Tobacco “KEDA” version participation optimal set was defined in Indonesian, Cuban and Dominican Republic tobacco combinations. “Imeri LTD” since 2014 produces in Georgia handmade, higher than average strength, 23 types of cigars, cigarillos, and six kind of wrapping tobaccos.
